Wumi’s First Baby Brings Joy to New Hospital
In a joyful moment that will be remembered for years to come, the newly opened Wumi Mini Hospital has welcomed its very first baby — a beautiful girl named Annie, born on 25 July.
The hospital, a modern health facility built by FQM Trident through the Trident Foundation and officially handed over to the government earlier this year, stands as a symbol of progress for Wumi. Equipped to provide essential healthcare services closer to home, it means residents no longer have to travel long distances for quality medical care.

To mark the historic occasion, FQM Trident presented baby Annie with a special baby hamper — a small but heartfelt gesture celebrating not only her arrival but also the hospital’s new role as a lifeline for the community.
Baby Annie’s birth is more than a personal milestone for her family — it represents a turning point for Wumi. As the first of many lives to be safely delivered within its walls, the Wumi Mini Hospital will continue to safeguard the health and future of the community for generations.
